Annual Learning and Sharing Meeting in Nepal

Annual Learning and Sharing Meeting of FANSA Nepal member organizations took place on September 3, 2024, at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur, where 23 member organizations showcased their advocacy efforts to improve access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services for marginalized and vulnerable communities.
Mr. Prabat Shrestha from the Ministry of Water Supply highlighted the Joint Sector Review actions, urging civil society organizations (CSOs) to align their work accordingly. Similarly, Mr. Rajit Ojha from the Department of Water Sewerage System Management shared the WASH Sector Development Plan, calling for stronger collaboration with CSOs. Member organizations also committed to organizing at least three advocacy events annually in their districts.
The meeting included a discussion on FANSA Nepal’s draft strategy document, setting the path for future advocacy initiatives.
