Multi-Stakeholder WASH Social Audit and Advocacy Training Workshop in Maldives

Multi-Stakeholder WASH Social Audit and Advocacy Training Workshop unfolded in Kulhudhuffushi City on 22-23 May 2024, in partnership with Kulhudhuffushi City Council, MAPD, Nurses Association, Social Enterprise Maldives, with the support of Rising for Rights project. The objectives of the workshop were:
- Increase awareness on importance of WASH; Citywide Inclusive Sanitation for realizing SDG 6
- Train stakeholders on preparation and implementation of social advocacy plans
- Training on conducting Social Audit
- Design mechanism for sustained advocacy based on outcomes of periodic social audits on WASH agenda
