Celebration of World Water Day in Maldives

To mark World Water Day 2024, FANSA Maldives joined hands with the National Library to host a collaborative Multi-stakeholder Discussion Forum. Diverse stakeholder groups, including the Maldives Water and Sewerage Company, the Maldives Nurses Association, the National Institute of Education, the Maldives National Library, WaterCare, and others, came together for this significant event. Rasheed Bari, National Convenor delivered insights on CWIS and its implications for water and sanitation, paving the way for discussions on Male's challenges and our focal areas. The forum fostered interactive dialogue, with participants brainstorming ways to engage academia in research and advocating for crucial policy adjustments.
